(NASA Photo \/ Bill Ingalls)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>News Brief:<\/strong> The hatch to the International Space Station\u2019s Rassvet module has a lot in common with a revolving door this week, due to today\u2019s homecoming for three spacefliers and Wednesday\u2019s launch of a fresh space trio. After spending more than five months in orbit, NASA\u2019s Scott Tingle, Japan\u2019s Norishige Kanai and Russia\u2019s Anton Shkaplerov left the station on a Russian Soyuz spacecraft and touched down safely in the steppes of Kazakhstan. \u201cThat was a good ride!\u201d Tingle said. NASA\u2019s Serena Aunon-Chancellor, Germany\u2019s Alexander Gerst and Russia\u2019s Sergei Prokopyev are getting set to blast off from Russia\u2019s Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan in another Soyuz.
