Or getting sick? Billionaire founder Jeff Bezos has a word of advice: Fuhgeddaboudit.<\/p>\n<p>During Wednesday\u2019s&nbsp;visit to the 33rd Space Symposium in Colorado Springs, Bezos handled the standard questions about, um, bodily needs while in the confines of the suborbital spaceship that Blue Origin is developing.<\/p>\n<p>Those questions have been addressed before, but perhaps not quite as authoritatively (or humorously). Watch this video, and then we\u2019ll sum up answers to all the burning questions that arose:<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"What if you have to pee or puke in space? Jeff Bezos has answers\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/u1TyxF4omfA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen=\"\" data-ratio=\"0.5625\" data-width=\"800\" data-height=\"450\" style=\"display: block; margin: 0px; width: 800px; height: 450px;\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>What if I get queasy?<\/strong> Getting sick to your stomach can be a problem on zero-G airplane flights like NASA\u2019s \u201cVomit Comet,\u201d but motion&nbsp;sickness typically doesn\u2019t come up until you\u2019ve gone through several rounds of zero-G. Blue Origin\u2019s suborbital space ride lasts only 11 minutes, with a single four-minute&nbsp;dose of weightlessness. \u201cYou\u2019re going to be fine,\u201d Bezos said.<\/li>\n<li><strong>What if I have to use the bathroom in flight?<\/strong> Go before you go. \u201cListen, if you have to pee in 11 minutes, you got problems,\u201d Bezos said. You may have to hold it for more than 11 minutes, though, since passengers will board the spaceship a half-hour before launch.<\/li>\n<li><strong>How much training will I need?<\/strong> \u201cIt shouldn\u2019t be more than a day of training,\u201d Bezos said. \u201cYou have to know how to strap yourself in, and a few other things.\u201d The current plan calls for New Shepard to be flown autonomously, so there won\u2019t be any pilot on board. Back in January, Blue Origin\u2019s Nicholas Patrick said the passengers would probably be trained to use onboard emergency equipment.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Where do I buy my ticket?<\/strong> \u201cWe\u2019ll probably start taking down payments and selling tickets when we\u2019re closer to commercial operations,\u201d Bezos said.
