Fey obliged, but it was Aldrin who showed the moon who\u2019s boss. \u201cI own you! I walked on your face!\u201d he shouted.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=adz4rbKSsDI<\/p>\n<p>Now Aldrin\u2019s prime target is Mars rather than the moon. He\u2019s turned&nbsp;\u201cGet Your Ass to Mars\u201d into a marketing slogan, and is pushing a plan to settle humans on the Red Planet by 2040. (SpaceX\u2019s Elon Musk wants to do it sooner.)<\/p>\n<p>During a trip to Australia for&nbsp;National Geographic\u2019s \u201cMars: The Live Experience,\u201d Aldrin said going to Mars would be challenging. \u201cIt may hurt!\u201d he told News Corp. \u201cBut to have a very challenging life from age 40 when you get to Mars, and returning at 60, may be worth it, having sacrificed for your country, or for humanity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In order to see astronauts walk on Mars in the year 2033, as depicted in National Geographic\u2019s \u201cMars\u201d miniseries, Aldrin would have to live to&nbsp;the age of 103. But I wouldn\u2019t put it past him.<\/p>\n<p>By the way, even though this week\u2019s supermoon moment has passed, it\u2019s still worth gazing at the moon.
