Blue Origin is attempting to launch its second New Glenn rocket from LC-36 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The mission will carry NASA\u2019s ESCAPADE payload to Mars for a tech demonstration of low-cost interplanetary exploration.<\/p>\n

Blue Origin\u2018s launch coverage is live for its NG-2 mission with NASA\u2019s ESCAPADE mission to Mars. The rocket is also flying a tech demonstration for ViaSat. The objective of Blue Origin\u2019s second New Glenn flight is to safely deploy the ESCAPADE payload and hopefully land the first stage on a drone ship out in the Atlantic Ocean.<\/p>\n

This is Blue\u2019s third day attempting to launch its rocket. On Sunday the launch had to be scrubbed due to local weather and technical issues with the launch site\u2019s ground support system. Yesterday, Blue Origin had to delay the launch until today due to solar activity that caused auroras across the country.<\/p>\n
