The last blaster<\/h2>\n

This piece of Star Wars <\/em>memorabilia is being auctioned by Rock Island Auction Company in August. The prop pistol is expected to go for somewhere in the ballpark of $300,000 to $500,000. That\u2019s partly because this particular prop is believed to be the last surviving Han Solo blaster from the film.<\/p>\n

Three Mauser C96 pistols were modified for visual effect and used during filming, but only one is accounted for today. The \u201cDL-44 Heavy Blaster Pistol,\u201d as it\u2019s called in Star Wars <\/em>parlance was only discovered recently. <\/p>\n

\u201cHan Solo\u2019s blaster was previously considered missing and presumed lost forever, requiring new prop blasters to be built for \u201cThe Empire Strikes Back\u201d and \u201cReturn of the Jedi,\u201d according to the auction company. \u201cThe replacement wielded by Ford in the \u201cReturn of the Jedi\u201d sold at auction in 2018 for $550,000.\u201d<\/p>\n
