The 2-second clip covers about three hours, from 9:40 p.m. EDT on May 15 to 12:30 a.m. EDT on May 16. It is currently preparing to use the Earth for a gravity assist on October 16, 2022, as it continues its twelve-year journey to eight different asteroids, arriving at its first in 2025.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The next total lunar eclipse will occur on Nov. 8, 2022, and while it\u2019s not clear if we\u2019ll get another view from Lucy, you can count on the talented team of photographers at Space Explored to deliver more stunning photos.
