In it, we get our first glimpse at what Blue Origin is basing this lawsuit over.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-20827\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The redacted copy of Blue Origin\u2019s lawsuit against NASA seems to be built on SpaceX\u2019s use of Flight Readiness Reviews. They argue that SpaceX won\u2019t be performing a FRR for every Starship flight, instead just one. Blue Origin also continues to argue that their system was the superior choice, stating Starship is \u201ctremendously high risk and immensely complex.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SpaceX\u2019s HLS Starship variant will require several orbital refueling missions before its trip to lunar orbit. This technology has yet to be demonstrated but would be needed for all Starship missions outside of low Earth orbit.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-spacex-denies-blue-origin-s-frr-claims\">SpaceX denies Blue Origin\u2019s FRR claims<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a document responding to Blue Origin\u2019s claims, SpaceX clarified that they would do FRRs for every launch. The confusion came from SpaceX\u2019s proposed payment milestone for the final FRR, but that only deals with when SpaceX gets paid \u2013 not how many FRRs the company will do. They reinforced their claim stating that \u201cFRRs are standard procedure for every SpaceX launch.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\t<span class=\"outbrain-ad-label\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>\t\t<script type=\"text\/plain\">\n\t\t\twindow.adSlotsConfig = window.adSlotsConfig || [];<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\tadSlotsConfig.push( {\n\t\t\t\tslotID: '\/1049447\/Outbrain',\n\t\t\t\tslotName: 'div-gpt-ad-outbrain-ad-20827',\n\t\t\t\tsizes: [300, 250],\n\t\t\t\tslotPosition: 'mid_article'\n\t\t\t} );\n\t\t<\/script><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Of course, we will still have to wait for the lawsuit\u2019s conclusion and an official decision on the contract.
