They were surprised when they found out there may have initially been another planet within our solar system.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-5981\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The discovery of this mystery planet came when scientists were looking at Uranus and Neptune\u2019s likely original locations. This process involved conducting over 6,000 specialized computer simulations. These simulations showed that Uranus and Neptune\u2019s positions were shaped by the Kuiper belt and the mystery ice giant planet\u2019s gravity.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Obviously, this ice giant planet is no longer within our solar system.
