The single-star downlink bandwidth is 1Tbps and the uplink bandwidth is 160Gbps, which are 10 times and 24 times that of the current V2 mini version respectively. Officials say that V3 will be launched using starships, and each network launch will provide 60T of communication bandwidth (that is, 60 V3 Starlinks are launched at one time), which is equivalent to the total capacity of more than 20 Falcon 9 launches to deploy Starlink V2 Mini.<\/p>\n<p>But correspondingly, the weight of Starlink V3 has also reached 1.8 tons, and the deployment orbit altitude is about 350 kilometers. What&#8217;s more, once the starship is put into commercial use, SpaceX can further reduce the Falcon 9&#8217;s current launch price of US$1,500 per kilogram to around US$200.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, SpaceX\u2019s need for starships is urgent.<\/p>\n<p>02<\/p>\n<p>What are the highlights of this test flight?<\/p>\n<p> There are two biggest highlights of this test flight: Musk\u2019s return and the successful deployment of the simulated payload. First, Musk\u2019s return. After &#8220;breaking up&#8221; with Trump, Musk was finally able to devote himself wholeheartedly to the iteration of Starship. Starship&#8217;s tenth flight once again confirmed Musk&#8217;s importance to the company and was a great encouragement to the entire Starship team. At the level of technical verification, the two core tasks before the tenth flight of the starship: second-level splashdown and simulated payload deployment were both successful.
