It is equipped with a hyperspectral payload and can collect information across the electromagnetic spectrum covering infrared to ultraviolet. “Tianwei Technology One” pilot satellite: This satellite was successfully launched on February 27, 2022. It is Xiamen’s first city-customized satellite and the first city-customized satellite in Fujian Province. In March 2025, the 108 satellite constellation applied by Tianwei Technology successfully passed the national industry and information review and was reported to the International Telecommunications Union, and it plans to complete the launch and deployment of 108 satellites in the next 3 to 7 years. The constellation consists of panchromatic multispectral observation satellites, SAR observation satellites, hyperspectral observation satellites, etc. After network operation, it will achieve all-day, all-weather, and multi-spectral remote sensing data acquisition.
