The State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense promotes the development of satellite and application industries from the perspective of the aerospace industry authorities. 2. Industry associations related to the commercial aerospace industry<\/p>\n
(1) China Satellite Application Industry Association <\/p>\n
China Satellite Application Industry Association is the only national professional group representing China’s satellite communications, radio and television users. In 2014, it was officially renamed China Satellite Application Industry Association. It is an extensive non-profit organization composed of government departments, operating companies, manufacturers, educational and scientific research institutions, various industry user departments and their managers and experts.<\/p>\n
(2) China Satellite Navigation and Positioning Association<\/p>\n
China Satellite Navigation and Positioning Association, formerly known as China Global Positioning System Technology Application Association, was established in September 1995 and officially changed its name to China Satellite Navigation and Positioning Association (referred to as China Satellite Navigation Association) in September 2012. The China Positioning Association is a national industry association in the field of satellite navigation and location services in my country. It is a non-profit, national social organization approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs. The business supervisory unit is the National Bureau of Surveying, Mapping and Geographic Information. The members of the association are distributed in various regions across the country, covering fields such as transportation, marine fisheries, hydrological monitoring, meteorological forecasting, surveying and mapping geographical information, agriculture, forestry and animal husbandry, forest fire prevention, communication networks, power dispatching, disaster relief and reduction, emergency search and rescue, etc.<\/p>\n
(3) China Remote Sensing Applications Association <\/p>\n
The China Association for Remote Sensing Applications was established in 1992. It is the only national-level association in the field of remote sensing in my country that has been approved and registered by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, is under the supervision of central and state agency working committees, and is under the business guidance of the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense and the China Association for Science and Technology. Member units come from relevant national ministries and commissions, local government departments and affiliated institutions, aerospace, electronics and other military industry groups, as well as universities, scientific research institutes, enterprises, etc.; covering important fields such as natural resources (including forests, grasslands, and oceans), ecological environment, emergency management, urban and rural construction, transportation, water conservancy, agriculture and rural areas, statistics, meteorology, and national security.<\/p>\n
(4) China Satellite Application Industry Alliance <\/p>\n
The China Satellite Application Industry Alliance is a national social organization voluntarily formed by the Information Promotion Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China as the guiding unit and Academician Sun Jiadong, the “Father of Satellites” in China, as the honorary chairman.<\/p>\n
(5)China Radio Association <\/p>\n
The China Radio Association is an industry-wide, national non-profit social organization with legal person status registered in accordance with the law and voluntarily formed by domestic enterprises, institutions, relevant social groups and individuals engaged in radio operation, production, sales and use. Mainly responsible for conducting industry surveys and studying the development trends of the radio industry; reporting industry and member requirements to relevant government departments, and proposing opinions and suggestions on the industry’s development plans, technical policies and regulations; participating in the research and formulation of radio laws and regulations, macro-control and industry policies, accepting the entrustment of government departments to participate in the formulation and revision of industry standards, professional technical specifications, industry licensing conditions, and promoting the implementation of relevant standards and other related work.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
