The programme is designed to offer European companies and institutions the opportunity to test and validate new technologies in space.<\/p>\n<p>This significant milestone reinforces&nbsp;Avio\u2019s&nbsp;strategic role in the European space industry and further strengthens its collaboration with ESA, the European Commission, and key stakeholders across the sector.<\/p>\n<div class=\"widget-layout related-content-also-read-box my-3\">\n<h4 class=\"mb-0\">Also Read: What are the Various European Space Standards?<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<p><em>\u201cBeing an active part of this initiative confirms the reliability of Vega-C and Avio\u2019s position as a key technological partner for the space sector\u201d,&nbsp;<\/em>said <strong><\/strong><strong>Giulio Ranzo<\/strong><strong>, CEO of Avio<\/strong>. \u201cDeploying advanced technologies into orbit is essential to sustaining the sector\u2019s growth in an increasingly dynamic global landscape\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The three missions scheduled to fly as Auxiliary Passengers aboard Vega-C from the European Spaceport in French Guiana include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Persei (Spain)<\/strong>\u2013 With the E.T. Pack mission, Persei will demonstrate a passive deorbiting technology using a conductive aluminium tape, enabling controlled satellite re-entry without the use of propellant.<\/li>\n<li><strong>DLR<\/strong> \u2013 German Aerospace Center (Germany) \u2013 Will launch its Pluto+ cubesat, equipped with a compact avionics system and a high-efficiency flexible solar panel, aimed attesting technologies typically used on larger satellites.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Grasp (France)<\/strong> \u2013 Currently developing a constellation of Earth observation satellites, Grasp will launch its second satellite under the signed contract.
