{"id":3295,"date":"2023-11-24T16:10:32","date_gmt":"2023-11-24T16:10:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp-productionenv-bjg9h2g2bgg5b8aa.southeastasia-01.azurewebsites.net\/news\/china-launches-tech-experiment-satellite\/"},"modified":"2023-11-24T16:10:32","modified_gmt":"2023-11-24T16:10:32","slug":"china-launches-tech-experiment-satellite","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/starpath.global\/news\/china-launches-tech-experiment-satellite\/","title":{"rendered":"China launches tech-experiment satellite"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>China on Thursday sent a technology experiment satellite into orbit from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in southwest China&#8217;s Sichuan Province. <\/p>\n<p> The experiment satellite for satellite internet technologies was launched at 6:00 p.m. (Beijing Time) by a Long March-2D carrier rocket, and entered its planned orbit successfully. <\/p>\n<p style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: center\">\n<p> <img decoding=\"async\" style=\"HEIGHT: 239px; WIDTH: 400px\" border=\"0\" align=\"center\" src=\"https:\/\/english.spacechina.com\/n17212\/c3989675\/part\/3989685.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The launch is the 498th mission of the Long March carrier rocket series. <\/p>\n<p> It is also the 84th mission of the Long March-2D carrier rocket. <\/p>\n<p> A two-stage liquid propellant launch vehicle, the Long March-2D is capable of lifting 1.3-tonne payloads to the sun-synchronous orbit 700 km above Earth. <\/p>\n<p> This carrier rocket has the capability of launching both single and multiple satellites into various orbits. <\/p>\n<p> The upper stage Yuanzheng-3, or Expedition-3, atop the rocket, also contributed to the success of the mission. <\/p>\n<p> Thursday&#8217;s launch is the Yuanzheng-3&#8217;s first mission from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center.
