However, the ISS partners had to meet to ratify the changes, with further discussions set to take place as the Russians complete their failure investigation and more importantly any impacts to future launches.<\/p>\n<p>Roscosmos expects to provide an update about the Progress investigation on Friday, May 22.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-40184\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nasaspaceflight.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/2015-05-12-233052-350x244.jpg\" alt=\"2015-05-12-233052\" width=\"350\" height=\"244\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.nasaspaceflight.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/2015-05-12-233052-350x244.jpg 350w, https:\/\/www.nasaspaceflight.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/2015-05-12-233052-501x350.jpg 501w, https:\/\/www.nasaspaceflight.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/2015-05-12-233052.jpg 553w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 350px) 100vw, 350px\">The meeting between the international partners took place on Tuesday, resulting in an&nbsp;agreement to adjust the schedule after hearing Roscosmos\u2019s preliminary findings on the loss of the cargo craft.<\/p>\n<p>NASA noted that the exact dates have not yet been established, but will be announced in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n<p>The initial information \u2013 as reported by NASASpaceFlight.com last week \u2013 noted the evaluations in Russia proposed delaying the departure of&nbsp;Terry Virts of NASA, Anton Shkaplerov of Roscosmos and Samantha Cristoforetti of the European Space Agency until&nbsp;June 11-12 \u2013 providing them with another month on the Station.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-40144\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nasaspaceflight.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/2015-05-07-191646-350x237.jpg\" alt=\"2015-05-07-191646\" width=\"350\" height=\"237\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.nasaspaceflight.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/2015-05-07-191646-350x237.jpg 350w, https:\/\/www.nasaspaceflight.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/2015-05-07-191646-517x350.jpg 517w, https:\/\/www.nasaspaceflight.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/2015-05-07-191646.jpg 545w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 350px) 100vw, 350px\">Roscosmos were also evaluating the potential to advance the&nbsp;Progress M-28M launch to the beginning of July.<\/p>\n<p>This launch is not believed to be impacted by investigation into Progress M-27M\u2019s Soyuz 2-1A rocket, as the next Progress is set to ride on the Soyuz-U carrier.<\/p>\n<p>Also noted in the evaluations was the potential to delay the Soyuz TMA-17M launch \u2013 lofting Oleg Kononenko of Russia, Kimiya Yui of JAXA and Kjell Lindgren of NASA \u2013 until at least the middle of July.<\/p>\n<p>These changes have now been confirmed by NASA, albeit still subject to change.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-40183\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nasaspaceflight.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/2015-05-12-232734-350x241.jpg\" alt=\"2015-05-12-232734\" width=\"350\" height=\"241\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.nasaspaceflight.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/2015-05-12-232734-350x241.jpg 350w, https:\/\/www.nasaspaceflight.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/2015-05-12-232734-507x350.jpg 507w, https:\/\/www.nasaspaceflight.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/2015-05-12-232734.jpg 548w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 350px) 100vw, 350px\">\u201cThe return to Earth for Virts, Cristoforetti and Shkaplerov now is targeted for early June. NASA astronaut Scott Kelly and Russian cosmonauts Mikhail Kornienko and Gennady Padalka will remain aboard the station to begin Expedition 44,\u201d NASA confirmed on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe next Russian cargo craft, Progress 60, will launch in early July to deliver several tons of food, fuel and supplies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Soyuz spacecraft carrying Expedition 44\u2019s Kjell Lindgren of NASA, Oleg Kononenko of Roscosmos, and Kimiya Yui of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, will launch in late July from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nasaspaceflight.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/Z313.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"349\" height=\"221\">Further impacts are expected, as ISS managers juggle the busy Visiting Vehicle schedule.
