There she will join her payload, which has been installed into the Payload Changeout Room (PCR).<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Platforms that have surrounded Discovery and the stack were removed in steps, ahead of the crawler transporter picking up the duo on top of the Mobile Launch Platform in the early hours of Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>A problem during the mating of the LH2 umbilicals did not cause a schedule impact to Discovery\u2019s operations inside the VAB. As previously thought, the issue was not with the External Tank (ET-127), but on the orbiter side.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, Discovery\u2019s LH2 umbilical hydraulic actuator will be removed and replaced once Discovery arrives at the pad.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOV-103 (STS-119): Continuing external inspections of orbiter\/tank\/boosters in conjunction with work-platform retraction. Plan is to roll to pad at 04:00 on Wednesday,\u201d noted the latest Shuttle Stand-up\/Integration report on L2. Discovery left the VAB at 5:17am.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCompleted orbiter structural mate and umbilical mate this weekend. Along with the LH2 umbilical hydraulic actuator, all three of Discovery\u2019s Flow Control Valves (FCVs) will be replaced.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDuring GN2 Heater setups with the heater set point set at 0 deg F, the tank temp increased from 68 to 100 deg F upon activation of the SCR1 heater. There should have been no temperature increase,\u201d noted processing information on L2.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEngineers repeated the test and saw a slight temp increase with SCR1 activation. Control function was noted to be nominal. Engineers will probably recommend R&amp;R of the SCR (controller). Two spares are available. This issue has occurred before with these heaters and the controller\u2019s replacement will only take a short amount of time.<\/p>\n<p>One of the last tests of the shuttle stack in the VAB was S0008 \u2013 known as the Shuttle Interface Test \u2013 which was successful. However, a couple of minor issues were added to the processing reports.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cS0008, Orbiter and Booster stray voltage tests were completed yesterday. All systems are functioning nominally. Booster hydraulic operations were completed,\u201d noted L2 processing information.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNew issue was taken Monday during the ET\/TPS digital camera system functional test for a lack of communication between the GSE laptop and the ET separation camera. Laptop was replaced and the problem cleared; testing is complete.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNew issue during securing for RCS (Reaction Control System) heater activation, the 22D200 power supply was deactivated while engineers were troubleshooting the GN2 heater, resulting in loss of DC power to the heater.
