GPS is looking good and the plan for today is to continue the rampup,\u2019 noted L2 information.&nbsp;\u2018We will target KSC for the first opportunity. <\/p>\n<p>\u2018Hold in KSC and EDW for the second opportunity and then a decision will be made about an hour prior and to which site will be targeted.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>However, White Sands&nbsp;has been on and off on the internal loops \u2013 in regards to a sixth opportunity. The latest&nbsp;information points back to five attempts, that doesn\u2019t include White Sands.<\/p>\n<p>The latest weather forecasts remain negative for a landing at Florida, although every opportunity will be given for Atlantis to head back home to KSC. <\/p>\n<p>Head astronaut Steve Lindsey will be making weather observations in a T-38 and STA (Shuttle Training Aircraft) ahead of deorbit burn decisions for both of the KSC landing opportunities. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"130\" alt=\"\" hspace=\"5\" src=\"http:\/\/forum.nasaspaceflight.com\/forums\/get-attachment.asp?action=view&amp;attachmentid=13815\" width=\"200\" align=\"left\" vspace=\"5\" border=\"0\/\"><font color=\"#0000ff\">**Ride home through the fire and plasma of re-entry with Atlantis on STS-115 \u2013&nbsp;And&nbsp;now also with&nbsp;Discovery on STS-116&nbsp;\u2013 TWO Stunning high quality&nbsp;2hr, 355mb videos \u2013 from deorbit burn to post landing**<\/font><\/p>\n<p>Information on Friday morning pointed to Edwards as the most likely landing site, with only opportunities on orbits 218 and 219 currently go. The third, orbit 220, is currently expected to be in violation of wind strengths. Both KSC opportunities are currently no go.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Weather update: 2 KSC attempts do not look promising. 2 out of the 3 Edwards attempts are GO,\u2019 noted information this morning. <\/p>\n<p>Atlantis is now on her longest ever mission, following yesterday\u2019s wave off that kept her on orbit an extra day, breaking her STS-98 mission duration of 12.89 days.<\/p>\n<p>The orbiter is performing well, with only a few issues \u2013 all of which have no impact on her performance.
