(China Space News) \u2014 Insurance rates of China&#8217;s in-orbit satellite constellation dropped to a record low of less than 0.5%, down over 20% from last year, according to China Satellite Communications Co. Ltd.<\/p>\n<p >Three satellites, the Zhongxing-6A, Zhongxing-10 and Zhongxing-11, all based on the DongFangHong-4 platform, stand out as their insurance rates are as low as about 0.46%, hitting new low records. <\/p>\n<p >The rates are not only better than average for international satellite insurance market, but also lower than some European and American satellites based on similar platform. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BEIJING, Sept. 2.
