{"id":4270,"date":"2013-02-18T14:48:08","date_gmt":"2013-02-18T14:48:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp-productionenv-bjg9h2g2bgg5b8aa.southeastasia-01.azurewebsites.net\/news\/belarus-communications-satellite-project-launched-in-beijing\/"},"modified":"2013-02-18T14:48:08","modified_gmt":"2013-02-18T14:48:08","slug":"belarus-communications-satellite-project-launched-in-beijing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/starpath.global\/news\/belarus-communications-satellite-project-launched-in-beijing\/","title":{"rendered":"Belarus Communications Satellite Project Launched in Beijing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\">BEIJING, Feb. 4 (China Space News) \u2014 Belarus will be the first country in Europe to receive a China-made satelitte after a communications satellite contract took effect on January 29.<\/p>\n<p>The contract is between Belarus and China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC).<\/p>\n<p>A ceremony was held in Beijing on the day the contract came into effect. <\/p>\n<p>Gurulev Sergei Petrovich, Chairman of the State Military-Industrial Committee of Belarus, Burya Victor Pavlovich, Belarus&#8217; ambassador to China and Ma Xingrui, President of CASC attended the ceremony. <\/p>\n<p>According to the contract, CASC will manufacture a communications satellite for Belarus based on its Dongfanghong-4 satellite platform and launch the satellite using a Long March-3C rocket. <\/p>\n<p>CASC will also provide a package of services for Belarus concerning the operation of the satellite.
