{"id":4273,"date":"2013-01-11T16:35:47","date_gmt":"2013-01-11T16:35:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp-productionenv-bjg9h2g2bgg5b8aa.southeastasia-01.azurewebsites.net\/news\/china-to-launch-ziyuan-iii-02-satellite-in-2014\/"},"modified":"2013-01-11T16:35:47","modified_gmt":"2013-01-11T16:35:47","slug":"china-to-launch-ziyuan-iii-02-satellite-in-2014","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/starpath.global\/news\/china-to-launch-ziyuan-iii-02-satellite-in-2014\/","title":{"rendered":"China to Launch Ziyuan III 02 Satellite in 2014"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"Section0\" style=\"text-align: justify; layout-grid:&nbsp; 15.6pt none\">BEIJING, Jan. 11 (China Space News) \u2014 China&#8217;s first high-resolution, stereo mapping satellite Ziyuan III meets international standards, ridding the country of its reliance on imports of satellite images. <\/p>\n<p>It was announced at a seminar reviewing the research and development of Ziyuan III held on Wednesday, one year after the satellite was launched.<\/p>\n<p>China used to import over 90 percent of its remote-sensing data, according to the seminar.<\/p>\n<p>The launch of Ziyuan III has enhanced the country&#8217;s capability to capture space remote-sensing images, bolstered state security and boosted the geo-information industry.<\/p>\n<p>Also according to the seminar, China plans to build a remote-sensing mapping satellite system in 10 to 15 years.
