Mr. Guoping Li, the deputy director-general of system engineering department from China National Space Administration (CNSA) attended the meeting as a board member. National Disaster Reduction Committee and China Centre for Resources Satellite Data and Application also sent representatives to attend the meeting as the CHARTER authorized user and ECO respectively.<\/p>\n<p>In the meeting, China officially applied to take the leadership for the first half year of 2014, and approved by the board. CNSA also added SJ-9A satellite as the on-duty satellite, providing services for the disaster-affected areas worldwide.
