Galaxy Broadband is owned by <strong>Crown Capital Partners<\/strong>, a private equity firm that acquired the company in 2020. Calian announced the deal on June 25.<\/p>\n<p>Galaxy Broadband delivers secure and resilient communications and connectivity solutions to government, defence, critical infrastructure and remote community customers across Canada. It is a service provider that delivers across LEO satellite deployment, private wirelesss and multi-orbit connectivity solutions. It supports organizations operating in some of Canada\u2019s most remote and challenging environments, including Northern Canada. The company has established relationships with key federal, territorial government organizations, critical infrastructure operators and businesses operating throughout Northern and remote Canada.<\/p>\n<p>It is a distribution partner of Eutelsat OneWeb and has deployed OneWeb in locations throughout Canada.<\/p>\n<p>Calian said the transaction will strengthen the company\u2019s ability to deliver integrated communications and connectivity solutions by combining Galaxy\u2019s connectivity expertise with Calian\u2019s capabilities across communications infrastructure, cybersecurity, defence technologies and remote service delivery.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn Calian, we have found a partner that shares our values, our commitment to people and our dedication to customer success.
