The countries have signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) that paves the way for co-operation on satellite communications and other space capabilities. Ministers also discussed the possibilities to avail of the future EU space investments to strengthen security and defense capabilities of the countries. <strong>Lithuania\u2019s Ministry of National Defense<\/strong> revealed details of the meeting, June 10.<\/p>\n<p>Lithuania has a population of around 2.9 million people. Luxembourg has a population of less than 700,000 people.<\/p>\n<p>The talks focused on strengthening NATO deterrence and defense and initiatives for strengthening European security. Significant attention was also dedicated to cooperation in space.
