NASA <\/b>has selected Aalyria<\/b> to support orchestration for its Space Communications and Navigation (SCaN) Program, starting with the PExT demonstration mission. <\/p>\n
NASA\u2019s PExT mission \u2014 Polylingual Experimental Terminal was launched in July of 2025 and completed more than 100 communication activities last year, before its mission was extended through April 2027. The spacecraft is conducting various communication demonstrations and wideband terminal technology with both government and commercial networks. <\/p>\n
Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) developed the payload, which is on a York Space Systems spacecraft. <\/p>\n
Aalyria said June 4 it will deploy its Spacetime network management software in NASA\u2019s SCaN program operations cloud and provide engineering support to the APL teams. Spacetime platform will be used to provide network orchestration across government and commercial space communications infrastructure, including partnering with multiple commercial networks for space relay scheduling. <\/p>\n
