Loke will play a key role in overseeing the company\u2019s digital evolution and regional strategy, with the aim of shaping the company\u2019s future through AI-driven solutions and multi-orbit strategies. Measat announced Loke\u2019s appointment, April 1.<\/p>\n<p>The Malaysian-based satellite operator is one of the biggest regional players in Asia and has a strong position in its home market of Malaysia.<\/p>\n<p>Loke will lead the Satellite and Network Engineering &amp; Operations, as well as Information Technology &amp; Digital Transformation divisions, and will spearhead the technical aspects of satellite and launch procurement.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, Loke served as CTO of a Singapore-based satellite operator, where he led the delivery of high-speed broadband services across the Asia-Pacific region. He began his career at <strong>Singapore Telecommunications <\/strong>(SingTel) as part of the team that launched the ST-1 operation. Loke has also worked at Measat before, having worked for the company for a decade in senior leadership roles. This includes being the Vice President of Network Engineering &amp; Operations and Customer Engineering.
