The agency has also awarded&nbsp;NV5,&nbsp;Planet Labs and Ursa Space Systems Luno B orders.<\/p>\n<p>Vantor, which was called Maxar Intelligence until last fall, will fuse data from multiple space-based sensors \u2014 including its own imaging satellites and other operators of electro-optical and synthetic aperture satellites. The data and insights will be used to update NGA\u2019s Land Use Land Cover classification system to characterize land use and condition worldwide, the company said.<\/p>\n<p>Vantor\u2019s analytics will also support NGA missions such as natural and man-made disasters, regional conflicts, and events requiring humanitarian assistance, the company said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis win highlights Vantor\u2019s unique capability to integrate the vast amount of data from multiple sensors to not only detect changes on a global scale, but to also deliver advanced analytics,\u201d Susanne Hake, head of Vantor\u2019s U.S. government business, said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>Luno B is an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity with a $200 million ceiling over five years to provide GEOINT users data and analytic services to characterize economic, environmental and geopolitical activity worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>Last summer, Vantor received an award under NGA\u2019s Luno A contract which provides government customers with commercial data and analytics services that monitor and assess global economic, environmental and military activity.
