NSG announced the partnership deal, Jan. 26.<\/p>\n<p>Riyadh Air plans to introduce high-speed passenger connectivity, as a result of this deal. The NSG Skywaves service will use Airbus HBC+ hardware featuring the <strong>Thinkom<\/strong> Ka2517 antenna. NSG said the service will support high-speed passenger connectivity of up to 300 Mbps. The first Airbus A321 with this connectivity is anticipated to enter service in the fourth quarter of 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Both Riyadh Air and Neo Space Group are owned by Saudi Arabia\u2019s Public Investment Fund (PIF).<\/p>\n<p>IFC is one of the key targets for NSG, a relatively new player in the market. In November last year, it announced that Thai Airways would equip all 34 of its Boeing 787 aircraft with NSG\u2019s multi-orbit IFC solution.<\/p>\n<p>NSG Skywaves leverages SES\u2019s Open Orbits network, which combines Medium-Earth Orbit (MEO) and Geostationary Orbit (GEO) to deliver reliable broadband connectivity. This IFC system aims to enable Riyadh Air to enhance passenger experience while improving fleet efficiency and operations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs the world\u2019s first digitally native airline, Riyadh Air is reimagining what air travel can be by fusing advanced technology, seamless connectivity, and authentic Saudi hospitality.
