Stellant Systems<\/b>, a manufacturer of radio frequency (RF) and microwave amplification products, is set to be acquired by TransDigm Group Incorporated<\/b> for $960 million in cash. <\/p>\n
TransDigm announced a definitive agreement to acquire Stellant Systems on Dec. 31. TransDigm Group is a global designer, producer and supplier of aircraft components. The company is publicly listed. <\/p>\n
Stellant Systems will continue doing business under its current name with no changes to operations, a representative for Stellant Systems told Via Satellite<\/i> on Wednesday. The acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals. <\/p>\n
Stellant Systems has been owned by private equity firm Arlington Capital Partners since October of 2021. It was formerly the L3Harris Electron Devices division and Narda Microwave-West. It is the only manufacturer of space-qualified traveling wave tubes (TWT) in the United States. Its products include the nanoMPM RF power amplifier, which supports the Airbus OneSat satellite line. <\/p>\n
According to TransDigm, Stellant Systems is expected to generate approximately $300 million in revenue for the calendar year ending December 31, 2025.<\/p>\n
