Intriguingly, the partnership marks Shield AI\u2019s deliberate expansion into the space domain. It aims to bring resilient, edge-based autonomy to satellites delivering critical infrastructure and national defense capabilities. The two companies announced the partnership, Dec. 3.<\/p>\n<p>Shield AI will use the Sedaro Platform as its primary environment for developing, testing, and demonstrating Hivemind in space-relevant scenarios. The combination of Hivemind\u2019s autonomy and Sedaro\u2019s high-fidelity simulation platform aims to accelerate the design, simulation, and validation of autonomous behaviors for orbital missions.<\/p>\n<p>Shield AI is a venture-backed deep-tech company and its product include V-BAT and X-BAT aircraft, Hivemind Enterprise, and the Hivemind Vision product lines.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201c<\/em>The strategic partnership with Sedaro and its technology is a critical enabler of at-the-edge, in-orbit autonomy.
