If the IPO goes through, Denver-based York\u2019s shares would trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol \u201cYSS.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>York is a portfolio company of&nbsp;<strong>AE Industrial Partners<\/strong>. The SEC filing does not disclose the percentage share of AEI\u2019s current ownership of York or how much of the company it will own if the IPO is successful.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-rm-sr=\"\">In the S-1, York says it generated $253.5 million in sales in 2024, up 6% from $238.1 million in 2023. The company recorded a $98.1 million net loss in 2024 versus a $29.7 million loss in 2023.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-rm-sr=\"\">Through the first nine months of 2025, York\u2019s sale are up 59% to $280.9 million versus $176.9 million for the same period in 2024. Net losses of $56 million so far this year are less than the $73.6 million the company recorded in the first nine months of 2024. Operating cash outflow so far in 2025 is $88.2 million.<\/p>\n<p data-uw-rm-sr=\"\">Backlog at the end of September stood at $642 million, down 25% from $861.7 million at the end of 2024.<\/p>\n<p>York has more than 670 employees, according to the S-1.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSubstantially all\u201d of the company\u2019s sales and backlog come from its work providing satellites for the Space Development Agency\u2019s Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture, which includes a combination of communications and missile warning satellites, York says.
