The company is launching a European subsidiary, Seraphim Space Europe, which will be headquartered in Berlin. With satellite technologies expected to play a key role in enhancing European security and sovereign defence capabilities, as well as in areas such as climate change, Seraphim believes having a new European hub will be key to its ambitions. This is an expansion from its base in the U.K. Seraphim announced the launch of its European subsidiary, Sept. 25.<\/p>\n<p>The Berlin-based subsidiary will serve as Seraphim\u2019s European hub to advance the company\u2019s mission to raise awareness of the potential of space technologies and representing Seraphim in key industry forums and networks across the region. A key part of the subsidiary\u2019s mandate is to foster collaboration between European innovators, corporates, and and governments.<\/p>\n<p>Seraphim has appointed Hans Steininger, Arndt Geiwitz, Ulrich Hermann, and Christoph Keese as co- shareholders by rolling up the engagement in their previous vehicle <strong>Einstein Industries Ventures<\/strong>, leveraging their domain expertise. Steininger is shareholder and CEO emeritus of <strong>MT Aerospace<\/strong>, a supplier of space technology; Geiwitz is CEO and shareholder of <strong>SGP<\/strong>, a tax and restructuring firm; Hermann, formerly a board member of <strong>Heidelberger Druck<\/strong>, is an expert in industrial software and platform services; and Keese is an investor and entrepreneur.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith this initiative, Seraphim is strengthening its presence in the European space ecosystem and laying the groundwork for deeper engagement with the public, policymakers, and the investment community.
