Photo: Maxar Space Systems<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p>\n<p>The <b>SiriusXM <\/b>SXM-10 satellite has completed in-orbit testing and has now entered service, marking the second new satellite to enter service for SiriusXM this year.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Maxar Space Systems<\/strong> built the satellite, which <strong>SpaceX<\/strong> launched in June. The previous satellite, SXM-9, began service in January. The digital audio radio satellite will provide continuous delivery of SiriusXM\u2019s programming to 175 million SiriusXM-equipped vehicles on the road.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe SXM-10 satellite strengthens the health of our fleet and the infrastructure that provides a critical foundation for our audio entertainment and information services enjoyed by tens of millions of people across North America,\u201d said Bridget Neville, SiriusXM\u2019s senior vice president &amp; GM of Signal Distribution Engineering.<\/p>\n<p>The satellite is based on the Maxar 1300 platform and features an S-band reflector antenna supplied by L3Harris.
