Slingshot Aerospace <\/b>is rolling out a new simulation tool, an AI-powered agent that can imitate satellite actions in training and simulation environments. Called \u201cTalos\u201d \u2014 the Thinking Agent for Logical Operations and Strategy \u2014 Slingshot said it is designed to learn and replicate tactics like space warfare maneuvers and dogfighting strategies.<\/p>\n
The U.S. Space Force recently used Talos in training exercises, Slingshot said on July 29. The 57th Space Aggressors Squadron recently used Talos during the unit\u2019s training mission to simulate threat behaviors, shape scenarios, and inform planning. <\/p>\n
Slingshot described Talos as able to evaluate surroundings, \u201creason through potential strategies and tactics, and execute its objective within a simulated, physics-accurate orbital environment.\u201d <\/p>\n
The product builds on Slingshot\u2019s collaboration with the U.S. Space Force\u2019s Operational Test and Training Infrastructure (OTTI). It also uses Slingshot\u2019s space object tracking and mission intelligence datasets, Seradata. <\/p>\n
