The contract was announced on June 25.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The satellites will be built on the company\u2019s standardized satellite platform, which it said supports rapid deployment and cost-efficient manufacturing. GomSpace is a small satellite manufacturer based in Denmark, and will manufacture the satellites at its production facilities in Aalborg.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>GomSpace said this is a \u201csignificant milestone\u201d for the company showing in its market readiness and satellite platform.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a mission-critical initiative for our customer, and we are proud to have been chosen from a competitive field of suppliers. Our technology heritage, customer mission focus, world-class team, and scalable manufacturing capabilities were decisive factors.
