Under the USD 89.6 Million agreement, the initiative will support strategic long-haul network transport and base-support communications for Combat Service Support, Department of Defense (DoD) programs, and additional U.S. Government agencies.<\/p>\n<div class=\"widget-layout related-content-also-read-box my-3\">\n<h4 class=\"mb-0\">Also Read: How a Multi-Orbit Satcom Solution Gives Ground Stations the Best of Both Worlds<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<p>The commercial Ku-band geostationary satellite service delivered by SES Space &amp; Defense with the support of the Commercial Satellite Communications Office (CSCO) will ensure global connectivity for end-users, utilizing commercial teleport and equipment to support the COMSATCOM links. Coupled with the terrestrial-based network linking the entire system, the service ensures cohesive connectivity across teleports and the Global Network Centers (GNC).
