The collaboration would target U.S. and European markets across defense, commercial, and government sectors, with both companies contributing to production, business development, and market distribution.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe joint venture will focus on multi-orbit missions in LEO, MEO, and small GEO; in-orbit demonstration (IOD) and in-orbit validation (IOV) campaigns; and advanced space applications such as LIDAR, software-defined radio (SDR), on-orbit surveillance, and refueling missions,\u201d Sidus Space said in the company\u2019s MoU announcement.<\/p>\n<p>The MoU to form a JV comes during a week of tense U.S. and European trade relations as the result of U.S. President Donald Trump\u2019s global tariffs. Many industry analysts have been studying the potential impact of tariffs on the commercial space industry, which relies heavily on global trade.
