The satellite provides imagery using 6 multispectral bands optimized for cross-sensor analysis with PlanetScope. It supports 50 cm tasked imagery and is designed to produce 40 cm class imagery.<\/p>\n<p>Planet has equipped Pelican-2 with Nvidia\u2019s Jetson platform for on-orbit computing, aiming to reduce the time between data capture and delivery to customers. The company said it expects to provide imagery with increased resolution after lowering the spacecraft to its operational altitude and completing commissioning and calibration work.
