Global RadioData Communications <\/b>(GRC) signed an agreement with Amazon\u2019s Kuiper Government Solutions<\/b> (KGS) to become an authorized reseller of Kuiper communications, GRC announced on Feb. 18. <\/p>\n
GRC, headquartered in Hereford, U.K., designs and develops mission-critical communication and situational awareness systems for government and defense agencies, emergency responders and industries such as oil, gas and mineral exploration worldwide.<\/p>\n
KGS is the government-focused division of Project Kuiper, Amazon\u2019s initiative to establish a constellation of satellites in Low-Earth Orbit (LEO). <\/p>\n
The partnership will allow GRC and KGS to deliver secure LEO satellite communication solutions tailored for U.K defense and other approved government customers.<\/p>\n
Rick Freeman, president of KGS, expressed confidence that the partnership would simplify government users\u2019 adoption of advanced satellite capabilities.<\/p>\n
