Aeromexico<\/b>, Mexico\u2019s global airline, will upgrade its Boeing <\/b>787 Dreamliner fleet with Viasat\u2019s in-flight Wi-Fi solution, Viasat announced on Feb. 20.<\/p>\n
The upgrade includes 17 total aircraft: eight Boeing 787-8s to be upgraded first, and nine Boeing 787-9s following. The upgraded aircraft is set to enter service later in 2025.<\/p>\n
Viasat has provided in-flight connectivity (IFC) on certain Aeromexico aircraft since 2018. During their partnership, Aeromexico has used the Viasat Ads platform to offer its passengers free, ad-supported connectivity sessions. <\/p>\n

Aeromexico said it will continue to enhance its passenger experiences with Viasat\u2019s Ka-band satellite network. The Dreamliner fleet services include flights to Paris, Madrid, Amsterdam, Rome, London, Buenos Aires, Santiago de Chile and more.<\/p>\n
Viasat also signed a deal with Taiwan\u2019s Luxury Airline Starlux to upgrade 48 aircraft to Viasat\u2019s IFC system earlier this month. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
