Following its purchase of Deimos in 2024, Indra aims to consolidate civil and military space capabilities under its new entity, Indra Space. The purchase is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Indra Group plans to become a Tier-1 European player, provide end-to-end capabilities across the value chain, and offer a range of civil-military products for secure satellite communications, observation, and navigation.<\/p>\n<p>Indra Group is involved in programs like IRIS\u00b2, Galileo, and Copernicus while advancing in space surveillance, Low-Earth Orbit (LEO) navigation, and Earth observation. Domestically, Indra supports SpainSat NG and PAZ satellites, and it plans to integrate Hispasat\u2019s technology for operational efficiencies.<\/p>\n<p>Indra Group\u2019s CEO, Jos\u00e9 Vicente de los Mozos, commented: \u201cDeimos and Indra Espacio will enable Indra Space to lead the design and manufacture of LEO\/Medium-Earth Orbit (MEO) satellites and ground segment initiatives.
