Ratigan is an industry veteran and has worked for a number of big ground players and comes full circle (having previously been at Comtech EF Data) as the new CEO of Comtech.<\/p>\n<p>It is an exciting time for Comtech with new product releases, management changes, as well as a major strategic shift to divest its terrestrial and wireless businesses to become a \u2018pure play\u2019 satellite business. As we enter a more multi-orbit and fragmented satellite world, the onus will be on the likes of technology providers like Comtech to come up with the solutions that power satellite networks, both government and commercial.<\/p>\n<p>For Comtech, it is about new beginnings. For Ratigan, it is about coming back and leading the company into a successful new era.
