{"id":50374,"date":"2024-10-09T01:37:07","date_gmt":"2024-10-08T17:37:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp-productionenv-bjg9h2g2bgg5b8aa.southeastasia-01.azurewebsites.net\/news\/millennium-space-completes-pdr-for-foo-fighter-constellation\/"},"modified":"2024-10-09T01:37:07","modified_gmt":"2024-10-08T17:37:07","slug":"millennium-space-completes-pdr-for-foo-fighter-constellation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/starpath.global\/news\/millennium-space-completes-pdr-for-foo-fighter-constellation\/","title":{"rendered":"Millennium Space Completes PDR for FOO Fighter Constellation"},"content":{"rendered":"<\/p>\n<p><strong>Boeing <\/strong>subsidiary&nbsp;<strong>Millennium Space Systems<\/strong> in El Segundo, California said on Monday that it has finished preliminary design review (PDR) of the company\u2019s Low Earth Orbit Fire-control On Orbit-support-to-the-war Fighter (FOO Fighter) constellation, which is to be a key part of the Space Development Agency\u2019s (SDA) Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA).<\/p>\n<p>Millennium said on Monday that the completion of PDR came four months after Millennium received \u201cauthorization to proceed\u201d on FOO Fighter and that the company plans a critical design review on the system early next year.<\/p>\n<p>In April, SDA awarded Millennium an up to $414 million firm fixed-price contract for eight missile defense fire control satellites to launch in late 2026 as part of the FOO Fighter demonstration effort.
