Intellian Technologies<\/b> received Wideband Global Satcom (WGS) certification for its ARC-M4 Block 1 multi-band, multi-orbit satellite terminal. This terminal is known as the AN\/USC-75 in the JETDAS military naming system.<\/p>\n
Intellian called the terminal the \u201cfirst modern hybrid Naval terminal\u201d because it enables milsatcom\/WGS and commercial assets with a single terminal. <\/p>\n
The terminal is already operationally deployed supporting critical expeditionary missions for its user community. Intellian said it is the first tri-band terminal deployed for the surface fleet certified to deliver high-capacity satcom services on both commercial and military satellites, supporting four different orbits \u2014 Geostationary Orbit (GEO), Medium-Earth Orbit (MEO), Low-Earth Orbit, and Highly Elliptical Orbit (HEO). <\/p>\n
The ARC-M4 Block 1 terminal is certified for use now on WGS, XTAR, SES\u2019s O3b mPOWER and Viasat\u2019s Global Xpress commercial and High Capacity Military Ka-Band payloads. Other constellations are pending approval, including a software update to support HEO orbit.<\/p>\n
