Maxar Intelligence <\/b>opened a new London office this week as the headquarters for its international government business as it aims to increase its global presence. <\/p>\n
The London office will also serve as a hub for Maxar\u2019s enterprise business in Europe, which serves customers in industries like mapping, energy and telecommunications. The Maxar Intelligence headquarters remains in Colorado, but with the recent WorldView Legion launches, Maxar is expanding its global presence by establishing local leadership in more than half a dozen new markets and continuing to build out its regional Asia-Pacific hub in Singapore.<\/p>\n
Maxar also appointed Air Chief Marshal Lord Stuart Peach, the former chairman of NATO\u2019s Military Committee, as a senior advisor. Lord Peach is a former four star with 50 years military experience. He was previously the UK Chief of Defence, Chief of Joint Operations and Chief of Defence Intelligence, with experience in the tasking and application of intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.<\/p>\n
