The agreement supports GomSpace\u2019s commercial growth strategy and recent contract wins, including the 19.5 MEUR agreement announced last week for the delivery of 18 satellites to a European technology company.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe global satellite market is scaling rapidly, and demand is not only growing \u2014 it\u2019s evolving,\u201d<\/em> said <strong><\/strong><strong>Carsten Drachmann<\/strong><strong>, CEO of GomSpace<\/strong>. \u201cCustomers today expect faster time-to-orbit, and as our order book grows across all business units, the ability to deliver reliably at scale becomes a key competitive advantage. By outsourcing the production of standardized components, we can increase throughput while focusing our internal resources on more complex systems. This setup is instrumental in fulfilling major contracts such as the recently announced 19.5 MEUR order for 18 satellites our largest to date.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While GomSpace will continue manufacturing at its facility, NECAS will serve as a dedicated partner for volume production of selected products and subsystems. The agreement is effective immediately, and the first orders have already been placed.<\/p>\n<p><strong><\/strong><strong>Peter Ladefoged<\/strong><strong>, CEO of NECAS,<\/strong> added: \u201cGomSpace\u2019s products are now mature enough to support scalable production. This agreement is a significant step in expanding Denmark\u2019s role in the global space supply chain.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>GomSpace emphasizes that this agreement applies exclusively to products and subsystems. All satellite assembly, integration, and testing will continue to be performed in-house at GomSpace\u2019s advanced satellite assembly facilities at its headquarters in Aalborg, Denmark.
