Network Innovations, a technology integrator and cellular, satellite, and managed network solutions provider based in Calgary, Canada, announced the deal on September 3rd. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. <\/p>\n
The sale will close in phases due to regulatory approvals. The first closing which included the majority of Infosat\u2019s assets closed on September 1.<\/p>\n
Network Innovations co-CEO Derek Dawson highlighted the opportunity behind the deal in a news release saying that the chance to acquire a strong franchise and team rarely comes along. He said the deal will boost the company\u2019s service to enterprise and maritime clients in North America. <\/p>\n
\u201cInfosat\u2019s expertise complements our own, especially with the diverse range of connectivity offerings including the latest LEO networks, and we are confident this acquisition will enhance the creation and delivery of reliable communication solutions and services to enterprise and maritime clients across North America,\u201d Dawson said. <\/p>\n
