The new service tier MedallionNet Max will offer prioritized access and the highest performance bandwidth, which Princess Cruises said is \u201ctypically Starlink.\u201d&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The cruise line is a longtime customer of satellite connectivity. The brand touts being the old cruise operator that has adopted every source of bandwidth including Low-Earth Orbit (LEO) with Starlink, Medium-Earth Orbit (MEO), and Geostationary Orbit (GEO), as well as 5G terrestrial connectivity.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In May of this year, parent company Carnival Corporation completed installing Starlink across its entire fleet, 90 ships across multiple brands.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPrincess continues to ensure guests have access to the highest performing connectivity available at industry leading value,\u201d said John Padgett, president of Princess Cruises. \u201cBy including MedallionNet Max in our bundles we are guaranteeing the best possible onboard experience with the best value anywhere in the world.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>MedallionNet Max is a new, higher tier over MediallionNet Classic, the current service.
