Amazon<\/b> to support the creation of an initiative called the \u2018Internet of Forests.\u2019 O.N.E. Amazon is a technology company focused on creating sustainable impact for the environment and investors. Satellogic signed the letter on Earth Day, April 22.<\/p>\n<p>Satellogic will look to support O.N.E. Amazon\u2019s Internet of Forests \u2014 a large-scale sensor network that will be used to monitor key variables within the Amazon rainforest.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Internet of Forests is intended to ensure reliable measurements of key environmental and social metrics; serve as world-class data collection and storage infrastructure for scientific analysis of forest environments; and enable local communities to better understand how their behavior and the behavior of institutions impact the natural environment within the rainforest,\u201d said Rodrigo Veloso, CEO of O.N.E. Amazon.<\/p>\n<p>Satellogic President Matt Tirman said the company\u2019s satellite constellation can help respond to environmental change events.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSatellogic\u2019s mission is to monitor the planet to help solve the Earth\u2019s most pressing issues. We understand the importance of initiatives like the O.N.E.
