Muon Space<\/b> wins over $60 million in new customer contracts for the release of the planned Low-Earth Orbit (LEO) Muon Halo 10 smallsat constellation. Muon Halo\u2019s integrated hardware and software stack plans aim to optimize missions and improve LEO smallsat constellation performance. Muon Space announced the release of Muon Halo on April 4.<\/p>\n
The contracts include the design, build, and operation of 10 satellites ranging in size from 150 kg to 500 kg with remote sensing payloads launching throughout 2025 and 2026. Muon Space did not name the customers.<\/p>\n

Muon Halo incorporates Muon Space\u2019s MuSim digital engineering and simulation platform, the MuOS mission simulation engine, MuSat spacecraft platform design, and MuCore software-defined instrument for remote sensing. <\/p>\n
Muon Halo comes soon after Muon Space\u2019s second satellite launch of MuSat2 that was launched on the SpaceX rideshare mission in early March. <\/p>\n
