One of its U.S.-based subsidiaries, <strong>DataPath<\/strong> won a new order from the <strong>U.S. Department of Defense<\/strong> (DoD) worth $5 million. Gilat announced the deal on March 28.<\/p>\n<p>This additional order is for DKET 3421 terminals, transportable satcom hubs that aim to deliver the operational flexibility, capacity, connectivity, and control. The DKET 3421 supports multi-carrier operations with a scalable modem architecture (up to 32 modems.) Weighing under 5000 lbs. with a reduced footprint, the DKET 3421 is moved via forklift. DataPath said it can deployed in less than three hours and provides a satellite network hub in the form of a single-skid with the flexibility to leverage available satellite assets.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis new order underscores the trust and confidence placed in the company and our capability to deliver mission-critical solutions that meet our customer\u2019s stringent requirements.
