Royal Jordanian Airlines<\/b> (RJ) is adopting Viasat\u2019s<\/b> in-flight connectivity (IFC) solution to help enhance passenger experience across multiple fleets. Jordan\u2019s flagship air carrier will equip more than 40 total aircraft with Viasat IFC connectivity systems. Some of the aircraft receiving the installation include its new Embraer E2, Airbus A320, Airbus 321, and Boeing 787-9 fleets. The airline also plans to add its Boeing 787-8 widebody aircraft with the Wi-Fi solution.<\/p>\n
The connectivity service aims to provide passengers with fast internet speeds, streaming entertainment, and real-time communication capabilities designed to keep passengers and crew connected throughout the flight. With anticipated flight routes across the Middle East, Europe, and North Africa, Royal Jordanian Airlines is expected to leverage Viasat\u2019s high-capacity Ka-band satellite network, including, once launched and in service, the ViaSat-3 constellation.<\/p>\n
The company plans to roll-out the Wi-Fi on board its E2 Embraer Jets by the end of this month. <\/p>\n
